SFA Recommended Standard Configurations
SFA Recommended Standard Configurations have special negotiated pricing.  Use the links to order a recommended configuration as is, or customize with a variety of enhancements and options; then save to an e-quote.  An email with your specifications will be automatically generated to Purchasing for final processing.  (Please note the modem option is not necessary for an internet connection on the SFA campus.)

Computer Replacement program
Replacement computers will be purchased with University funds designated for computer replacement up to a base amount.  Enhancements and options exceeding the base amount, or new computers, will be the financial responsibility of the department.

Non-Standard Configurations
If you leave the SFA Recommended Standard Configurations page, the pricing shown will be from the DIR Contract #DIR-SDD-192.  Saved e-quotes will still be emailed to the purchasing department for final processing.

Operating System Information
All SFA Recommended Standard Configurations (with or without enhancements) will ship  with Windows XP Home OS. ITS supported computers will be automatically loaded with SFA Standard Software Image; all others contact your department Technical Support for a no cost upgrade to Windows XP Pro Business Edition OS as well as Anti-Virus solution.
